Late 18th to early 19th century. England. Linen press is in two parts. The upper case is in as-found condition and has cove molded cornice over a pair of panel doors opening to an interior fitted with three linen trays. The lower case has an upper molded edge above four long drawers with original cast-brass handles and cockbeaded edges, raised on a molded base with shaped bracket feet. The upper case has damage to the proper right door, molding to right side, and the proper left rear case side. This section has been in long term storage and needs significant restoration. The lower case is maintained in good condition.
