This is a very scarce advertising sign from either 1919 or 1920 when the Volstead Act was enacted. The top section of the sign states "Notice the Volstead Act prohibits intoxicating beverages." This is quite a historic sign and one that we have never seen before. The Coca-Cola script is quite unique because in the upper case "C" in both words there is Mother-of-Pearl inserts, white the "oca" and the "ola" are in regular red reverse paint. On the bottom it reads "Sold Here". There are chipped corners, a section missing from the upper right corner as well as moderate soiling and cloudiness. This piece does display better than described. It could be the only known in existence.

Condition: (Good).

Item Dimensions: 15 -1/4" x 11 -1/4".
1919 COCA-COLA REVERSE GLASS ADVERTISING SIGN.
