This lot of 2 consists of: 1 - Percussion Musket. Serial No. 573. Barrel length: 36" smooth bore, 3/4" diameter. Overall length: 51-1/2". Plate on right side stamped "MD-1848 / 1848-573" & stylized "R" with crown. The "573" is also stamped on the hammer, barrel, trigger guard, and butt plate. The wood ramrod is broken towards one end. The left side of the barrel is also stamped "5 LB 4C 1". 1 - English SxS Shotgun. NSV. 12 gauge. Barrel length: 27". Overall length: 43". Relic condition. Rib between barrels is stamped "LONDON FINE TWIST". Twin engraved hammers and two triggers. Engraved plates on both sides are stamped "W.C.M."
