A unique item probably created for use in a public arena featuring Franz the Organ Grinder standing astride of the wheeled organ attired in German clothing with a small drum at his hip. The organ itself is highly detailed with decorative inlay and 3 scenes depicting a lake and chapel. Presently outfitted to accept an American quarter by means of a separate coin box. The electro-mechanical movement is contained within the domed box underneath "Hans". The organ has an identifying mark Gebr. Wendel, Rudesheim. More than likely this was the creator of the organ and gentleman, if not the whole piece. Overall in working order and standing at approximately 6' tall! Includes key.

Condition: (Excellent).

Item Dimensions: 73" x 27-1/2" x 24"
