Last quarter of the 19th century and first quarter of the 20th century, American and English. The first with carved walnut frame, crest and supports with Jenny Lind bust carvings, burl veneer accents, upholstered in floral material. The second with a scrolled clam shell crest, acanthus carved fans, the arms with scrolled grips on spiral twist supports. Upholstered in red leather. The first is 42" tall, 15" at the seat. Second is 53-1/2" tall, with a 20" seat. Good condition with tight frames.
