Third quarter of the 19th century, American. One marble top absent. The white marble top with beveled edge fitted to the conforming walnut table base with scrolling leaf tips and volutes along the apron alternating with carved rose clusters within cartouches. Raised on four shaped molded and rose-carved legs joined carved cross stretchers centering an urn form finial with bouquet of roses. First is 27-1/2" tall, 40" long and 29" wide. Table now with later lacquer finish. Marble original with light soiling. Brown discoloration and staining corner of top. Otherwise good condition. Second table is 29" tall, 38-1/2" long and 26" wide. Retains old surface with later polish. Top is absent. Otherwise very good.
