Silver and gold, metallic edelweiss flower insignia on left side. Grey leather sweatband and grey cotton lining; a French artillery forage cap, late 19th or early 20th century, blue cloth body with red piping and edging, red tassel in front with applied flaming bomb device. Fully lined in black leather; a Russian grey sheepskin cap with red cloth top and metallic gold trim in form of cross, white metal, fish-scale and chinstraps. Front device mounted on cap features a rampant lion below a red star on a white/green/red ground with wreath surround. Leather sweatband and grey synthetic lining.
