1908-1911, Buffalo New York. All pieces have a Buffalo Pottery underglaze stamp, most are dated. This lot includes Dr. Syntax humidor, milk pitcher,
tea pot, saucer, and three plates. All Emerald Deldare pieces are dated 1911. Pieces include: "Dr Syntax returned home" humidor with repaired lid, otherwise good, 7" high; Milk pitcher "Dr. Syntax amused with Pat in the pond", very good condition, 7" tall; Deldare teapot "Dr. Syntax copying the wit of the window", lid repaired or replaced, 5-1/4" tall; Emerald Deldare plate "Dr. Syntax soliloquising" very good condition, 7-1/4" diameter; two Emerald Deldare plates "Dr. Syntax making a discovery", very good condition, 10" diameter; Saucer "Dr. Syntax and Bookseller" good condition, diameter of 6". Lot also includes Deldare Pilgrim water pitcher of John Alden and Priscilla, the verso depicting Miles Standish, very good condition with some craquelure, dated 1908. Two Deldare Humidors of "The Old Sailor", one dated 1908, one of 6-1/2" with turned wooden lid a probable replacement, one of 7" with base rim chip.
