Inscribed along the bowl in what appears multiple languages and dated 1666, the goblet stem of bobbin form with central compressed ring turning and a circular stepped foot. The foot rim with three pewter touchmarks, including markers mark of WGM over a floral bouquet. Origins unknown. Generally good with in use wear and imperfections, small losses at juncture from stem to base. 7-3/4" tall x 4-1/3" diameter. The second piece with everted rim on a Rococo style acanthys carved and sea scrolled standard continuing to a molded petal base. Unmarked. Tarnished and with some pitting, base has been weighted, foot cover now absent, otherwise good. 9" tall. Provenance: From a Private collection, many which were decommissioned from The Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn, New York in the mid 20th century.
