The larger doll is the very desirable 9" Simon and Halbag, incised "886 S&H", with blue glass sleep eyes, an open mouth with six upper teeth, with a swivel neck on a separate bisque torso, with separately strung bisque arms and legs, with molded and painted black Mary Jane type shoes with two straps, and blue stockings molded and painted above the knee. Joints are peg strung; she wears a mohair wig and a crocheted two piece blue costume. The smaller doll is 6 - 1/2", with no noticeable marking, with one piece head and shoulder, brown glass stationary eyes, a closed mouth, with separately strung arms, and legs with molded and painted black boots with slight heel, and molded and painted white stockings. Neither doll shows any sign of damage.
