The first is a nice all original example of a 14" German "Fashion Doll" on a kid body with bisque lower arms. Rosy cheeks, darker brown paperweight eyes and her original dark blue silk walking outfit (overall fraying to jacket), lower section of dress had original been covered with a lace pattern which has melted away. Original wig glued tight but head has been carefully inspected and appears to be free of any issues. Kid body is very clean and bright, most likely the doll has never been undressed. Lacking one net sock, both leather shoes with buckles are intact. The second is an unusual example of the desirable XI closed mouth doll affixed upon a kid and jointed composition body (repaint to composition parts) with a bisque shoulder plate, 18" tall. High colored bisque with blue glass sleep eyes, vintage brown human hair wig and dressed in an antique peacock blue silk dress (minimal/light wear to silk) with matching velvet and blue silk trimmed shoes. There is a slight whiteness to nose tip and tiny eye flake on dolls lower right rim.

Item Dimensions: Largest: 18" T.
LOT OF 2: CLOSED MOUTH KESTNER CHILD DOLLS.
