First is a framed grouping to include a cut signature of Thurman Munson in Gem Mint 10 condition, slabbed in PSA DNA holder. Also with a Yankees Teammates Stacks of Plaques Memorium of Munson, who was a beloved Yankee catcher, signed by his teammates, and a 16" x 20" photograph signed by Roy White, Jimmy Win, Doc Elis, Sparky Lyle, Bobby Murcer, a good friend of Thurman's, and many others. Incredible signature. There is also a framed copy of the Friday, August 3, 1979 New York Daily News front page article, reporting on the air crash that killed Munson and shows Thurman in bottom right corner wearing his Yankees cap. The photograph in the framed grouping, signed by teammates, shows Munson in his catcher's gear with hat turned around backwards and says "New York Yankees 1969-79 1977 & 1978 World Series Champion Captain, April 17, 1976 to August 2, 1979." Signature that is slabbed is certainly one of the best known examples.
