Lot consists of: Two Winchester rifle panel displays. Beginning in 1920, the Winchester store introduced their first five panel set of two sided signs that would have been housed in an oak frame, that was hinged and served the same purpose as a dressing screen. It would have been placed around the store advertising the different departments. We have two of the five panels representing the Winchester Model 90 and the Winchester Model 06 pump action .22's. They measure approximately 40" long x 8" wide. They were made out of brittle, heavy cardboard and printed in color. These two panels can be displayed independently, are part of the J20 Series for the week of August 31st to September 6th. CONDITION: Both are in excellent shape with minor toning and edge wear. If you collect Winchester .22's these would be great advertisements to go with your collection.
