Lot consists of (A) "The Bashford Dean Collection of Arms and Armor in the Metropolitan Museum of Art" by Kienbusch and Grancsay, The Arms and Armor Club, 1933 in a slipcase. Front page is initial "A.M. Harrison". An excellent resource for the examination of one of the greatest collections of arms and armor ever assembled. CONDITION: Good, some pages are no longer in sync with others indicating there may be some spine separation. Slipcase has an old tear at the bottom, possibly from someone forcing the book out at the wrong angle. (B) "Catalogue of European Daggers Including the Ellis, De Dino, Riggs, and Reubell Collections", France, 1928, by Bashford Dean. An excellent resource for anyone interested in European daggers. CONDITION: Fine, a few scuffs. Some pages are sticking out and no longer in sync with others, indicating there may be some separation from the spine. (C) "Catalogue of European Court Swords and Hunting Swords Including the Ellis, De Dino, Riggs, and Reubell Collections", France, 1928, by Bashford Dean. An indispensable resource for European blades, only 900 copies were printed of this 1928 edition. CONDITION: Good condition with a few scuffs to the cover. The page just before the table of contents but after the foreword is missing and appears to have been removed with a blade. Some pages are sticking out and no longer in sync with others, indicating there may be some separation from the spine. This lot is invaluable to a student of the finest European bladed weapons.
