This fine Steiff grouping includes a Blue Tit bird, a lying goat, a very large lamb and a mohair cat. The 10 cm bird is unjointed and has a mohair body and wings, blue hair wing and tail feathers and brown metal feet. His face is detailed with black button eyes and a plastic beak. He was made in the size only from 1959 through 1961. The 10 cm goat is unjointed and made from tan mohair that has been highlighted with brown airbrushing. His ears are made from felt. His face is detailed with green and black glass slit pupil eyes and a black embroidered nose and mouth. His bow and bell are original to him. He was made in 10 and 14 cm from 1954 through 1956. The lamb is 35 cm, standing, unjointed and made from white wool plush. She has green and black pupil eyes, a red hand embroidered nose and mouth and gentle airbrushing on her feet and face. She has her original brass bell; her bow is not original to her. This pattern was made postwar from 1948 through 1976 in 10, 14, 17, 22, 28 and 35 cm. The Blue Tit has all of his Steiff IDs, the goat has his button and yellow ear tag as his IDs and the lamb's IDs have been lost to time. The lot also includes a 1990's era Steiff Tabby Cat replica of a 1936 pattern with all IDs. Condition: As noted. All with surface dust and in good to very good condition overall.
