This sign dates back to the early 1900s. It is a tin Smaltz sign, which is affixed to a wooden frame. It has a wonderful appearance. M.A. Burnes was a furniture store in the late 1800s and early 1900s at 427 and 429 Main Street, Woburn, Massachusetts. The sign appears to be all original. It has a few rub marks with light wear and minor soiling. The sign displays quite well and would fit in any advertising or Americana collection.
