Mathurin Moreau (French, 1822 - 1912) bronze sculpture of a lying Cupid whispering into a woman's ear. The woman is seated on a gilt bronze mounted carved marble pedestal and wears a long flowing dress with a jug beside her. Has a light brown patina, finely carved pure white marble pedestal. Inscribed on the marble "M. Moureau". Size: 24 - 1/2" T.
