The lot consists of an invitation, envelope, menu, and silk guest ribbon for a dinner commemorating General Sherman's "March to the Sea", culminating with the burning of Atlanta in September of 1864 during the American Civil War, housed in a simple wood frame under glass. Fair condition overall, with staining, creases, and minor tears throughout.
