Salt glaze stoneware folded cup with the inscription "And the vessel that he made / of clay was marred in the hand/ of the potter: Jer XVIII-4." England 1884. Signed with incised signature "10-84/ Martin Bros/ London & Southall". This item retains a paper label of "The Harriman Judd Collection". Overall in very good condition. There is one shallow rim fleck on the exterior of the cup above the words "that he".
