Sought after original German World War I Maxim belt loading machine manufactured by Furstlich Lippische Stattswerkstatten A.G. in wooden carrying box. Handle and hopper present. This machine was originally built to load 8mm Maxim belts but was adapted to load .303 Vickers belts by the consignor. Additional to this lot is a U.S. .50 caliber belt linking machine in good serviceable condition which has also been adapted to load .303 Vickers brass tabbed belts. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is extremely fine green repainted finish with mechanism apparently functional. No additional parts or accessories beyond the machine and handle. A very nice grouping for the belt fed machine gun enthusiast. JWK 2021-04-019.
