Fairbairn-Sykes patterned dagger with distinct slender ribcage-piercing blade, oval guard, knurled waisted blackened brass grip, and slightly extruded pommel cap. Distinct "pancake flipper" sheath for use with a wide variety of belt sizes. CONDITION: Very good. Blade retains much of the bluing with some age spotting throughout, but does not appear to have been sharpened. Some minor silvering and bluing losses from being sheathed and resheathed. Grip retains the vast majority of the blackening with some brass showing through at high edges. Sheath is very good, retaining much of the olive drag paint with normal wear along prime meridian and marks throughout from use. Some kind of carbon buildup around belt slits; possible someone attempted to make ill advised pancakes. Leather is very good with some handling marks. A nice example. EW
