Taking the shape of an axe, this unique electric guitar was known for its killer style, comfortability and sound. The Breadwinner, model 1251-6, was manufactured in the US by Ovation from 1972 to 1979. It is constructed of solid mahogany from the Honduran ebony neck to the white body with a flat finish. Features include a dotted inlaid fretboard and chrome details. Instruction manual dates time of purchase "3-2-1976." Serial no. 4248. Guitar, 40"T x 14-1/2"W. Includes brown hardshell case, 42-1/2"T x 17"W. A chrome piece lining the pickup is missing.
