Pair of two part cast iron lion figures, recumbent on platform bases. Circa late nineteenth century after J.W. Fiske. Accompanied by a catalog supplement, 1874 "Illustrated Catalog of Zinc Statuary, Manufactured by J.W. Fiske, 21 & 23 Barclay Street and 26 & 28 Park Place, cor. Church, New York." Condition: Figure pieces have been welded together and show wear commensurate with age and exposure.
