Second half 18th century. Coastal New England. The nicely figured single board rectangular top with molded edge and notched corners projecting above the conforming case. The case fitted with a long top drawer over three aligned short drawers, the center drawer fan carved. The astral arched apron with acorn drop finials.The case raised on pronounced cabriole legs terminating in platform pad feet. Brasses old, if not original. Secondary woods are Chestnut and Pine. Professionally refinished. 1 - 1/2" mahogany strip on rear of original top board is later. Structurally very good. Size: 30 - 1/2" high by 35" wide by 22 - 1/2" deep.
