Complete 15" Globe. Scarce & early C. 1920's Globe for Shell Gasoline showing large "West Coast" style Shell graphic with unique script. A product of Shell Oil Company, San Francisco, California. CONDITION: Lens one is overall brilliant showing outstanding colors with no notable field wear. Lens one also shows an outstanding condition outer field and edge, Grade 9.0+. Lens two is also in excellent condition but shows one heavier scratch in the "E" of the center Shell lettering as well as one factory blemish in the white at the top edge. The remaining field is excellent and the outer edge is very clean, Grade 8.75. Lenses are set with Snap-Ring into an original Low Profile Metal Body that shows, "Loaned By Shell Oil Co." stamped into the base. Body has been professionally repainted and displays the lenses very well. A tough to find piece from Shell Of California.
