German bisque socket head incised “151 S & H 5 ½” by Simon & Halbig (light cheek rub), one-stroke eyebrows, painted eyes with brown eyelid line, open/closed smiling mouth with molded teeth, smiling face with dimples, replaced mohair wig; German composition and wood jointed body (neck socket a little large for head, wear and chipping on hands, stringing loose); lovely cotton dress, antique undies, shoes and socks. Rarely find this great character!
