Tapered straight single edged blade with 15" false edge and two partial fullers. Steel guard and hilt with pierced scroll designs on counterguard and pierced geometric designs on knucklebow. Forward turned quillon. Round gadrooned pommel with integral capstan. Spiraling grip covered with shagrin and two stranded of braided brass wire. CONDITION: Blade retains a spotted grey patina with scattered nicks to edge. Hilt retains a grey patina and grip shows wear and a couple minor losses to wrap. A very attractive officer's sword. DMG.
