Second quarter of the 20th century, American. Fine example in the continental taste with inset top within a chip carved, molded border with scalloped edges. The floral carved apron with reticulated piece-carved floral aprons suspended by S-scrolled elements. The table raised on four delicate shaped legs carved with stylized foliate and floral vines, joined by foliate carved cross stretchers centering a turned spire finial. The whole raised on hairy paw feet. Table is 31" tall x 32-1/2" long x 23" wide. Very good condition with original lightly cleaned surface.
