This popular Mutoscope was dubbed the "Indian" for the Native American portrait relief that can be found on the base of the stand. This particular device is a re-cast of the original Mutoscope made around the turn of the 20th Century. The recreation cast iron body has been painted in fluorescent yellow and green and is accented by copper on each of the reliefs. This device has a full picture reel, however it is lacking the front handle, the plate to the coin slot, the sign for the marquee, and lock for the cash box. The lock to the side of the "clam shell" is a replacement. One key is provided.
