Pottery box attributed to Rupert Carabin (French, 1862-1932) features a bat with wings spread, perched on a piece of fruit. The bat is finished in a brown glaze while the fruit is done in a green glaze. Unsigned. There is a small chip to one ear of the bat, and several small fleabites to edge of lid, otherwise very good condition. Provenance: From a Portsmouth NH Collection.
