This elegant and versatile multi-use knife features a nearly straight 5 - 1/4" clip point blade with a width of about 7/8" and stamped along the top edge of the left side with Scagel's kris mark. The canted brass guard is followed by numerous leather, silver, red fiber, and brass spacers with a brass-pinned brow-tine pommel. Handle measures approximately 5 - 1/8". The knife is complete with its original leather sheath that features 3 decorative brass tacks embellished with the letter "R". Also included is a brown leather sheath marked "GORDON ROMEIS / MAKER / FT. MYERS, FL". CONDITION: The knife exhibits evidence of heavy polishing and scattered freckling. The blade is relatively dull. Rubbing to the stacked leather washers and evidence of handling wear. Scabbard exhibits pleasant aging with verdigris build up around embellishments. Second scabbard exhibits scattered blemishes and handling wear.
