Rifle was manufactured from 1869 to 1876. The barrel measures 29-3/4". Lock is dated 1864. Matching number on barrel. Block is dated 1870. All metal has been re-blued. Stock has been refinished and has two cracks at left wrist. No visible cartouche. Buttplate does not fit. Strong but very dirty bore. Fine action. Very rare rifle that would be worthy of a proper restoration.
