A nice example that measures approximately 7" across, with the right side depicting a barque at sea with a smoking volcano with a triangular border across the bottom, while the left side is a heavily detailed scene of another barque (probably the same ship) anchored off the coast of a well-detailed shore that has various plant life including palm trees, alpacas, and a spotted lupine animal. A small boat has been deployed from the ship and a small crew can be seen rowing to shore. CONDITION: Overall very good with a lovely honey-gold patina throughout. The area near the root of the tooth has some minor chipping, probably from extraction and age. Some mild handling marks, but solid and strong. A really well presenting example of nautical ephemera.
