This rifle is a standard World War II rebuild military issue Model 1903 Springfield bolt action rifle. Chambered for the .30-govt-06. Barrel is dated 5-44 with the "H.S."(World War II High Standard replacement) and ordinance bomb. Wood has no visible cartouche. Has mixed parts. Replacement C stock is very good with usual dings. Metal's original finish s thinning. The receiver on this rifle dates to a 1911 manufacture. Action is fine. ME reading is 2.
