Attractive walking-talking Steiner in slightly smaller than usual size, 17 - 1/2", with pale solid dome bisque head with flange neck, pale blue glass eyes, open mouth with two rows of tiny little teeth, pierced earlobes, mounted to the original semi-mechanical body. The mechanism has a permanent inserted key in the torso with an on/off lever. After wound and the lever released. the head turns from side to side, the arms move up and down and the voicebox contained within the torso emits a "Mama - Papa" sound. The doll appears to be in good working order. The composition arms have original finish with white outlined fingernails, typical of the Au Nain Bleu toy store. She wears a bobbed, blonde mohair wig, an antique white cotton and lace trim chemise, antique underwear with slightly newer white cotton socks. CONDITION: Overall condition is very good.
