Presentation silver ladle with spiral wood handle, showing light and dark grain, and delicate silver cap. Flared bowl with knurled rim, engraved on the underside in script, "DES / from / GW / 1776." Nice, mellow, untouched patina to the silver. 4 or 5 small marks to the polished wood surface, minor stains to the silver. Preserved in a red velvet lined case with green leather cover and brass mounts. CONDITION: Excellent. Small rubs to the case and abrasions along to the edges. Ladle positioned to display the engraving when the case is opened.
