Chambered for the .44-40 Winchester centerfire cartridge (long cylinder). First manufactured in 1886. A popular revolver with the likes of Jesse James and other western desperados. Features a 6" barrel, factory nickel finish, blue trigger guard, S&W hard rubber grips. Overall, gun retains approximately 75-80% original factory nickel finish with some metal showing through and light freckling in areas. Trigger guard is blue brown patina. Hammer still has strong colors. Original grips are mint. Strong bore with some frosting. Perfect action. Lovely big bore revolver.
