English silver kettle on stand, Sheffield 1822 maker's mark RG, with a large bulbous body, animal head spout, swing handle and conforming stand all with extensive floral and scroll chasing, the body with two reserves, one with a coat of arms, the finial cast as oak leaves, roses thistles and shamrock. Fully marked except finial. Pinholes in chasing; repairs. Height to finial: 13". Weight: 87 ozt. From the Ray Bentley Collection.
