NSKK 2nd pattern crash helmet in size "59" with a black leather body exhibiting light wear and intact protection bars with light wear. Two small holes near the top for ventilation. Leather neck flaps and chinstrap exhibiting very light wear. Ear areas are covered with flap. Tombak eagle and black painted NSKK panel are excellent plus. The eagle's left side mounting prongs are broken off, and the right side has one prong remaining; emblem appears to be a replacement. Size marking is ink stamped under the front visor with a marking of "GRUPPEN - STAFFEL BAY OSTMARK" for the NSKK unit, is also present. A NSKK eagle is also stamped under the visor. Tan leather liner is intact with light wear, staining, and flaking. Drawstring is present. CONDITION: Excellent to near mint. WZ
