Tiffany Sterling Three Handled Cup, 1898, the slightly bulbous body cast and chased with extensive scrolling foliage under a raised-letter inscription "To David Nevins from the Directors of the American Manufacturing Company" and over three panels, one with a portrait bust, one with scrolled initials, and the third with raised letters reading "O Pass the Loving Cup of Friendship Round", with three cast handles in the form of ribbed, winged staffs with entwined serpents, and on three short scrolled feet. With fitted wood box lined in red felt. Height: 11-3/4". Approximate weight: 163 ozt. From the Ray Bentley Collection.
