18" pretty bisque head doll, with facial features very much meant to resemble a Jumeau. However, totally unmarked, and almost certainly of German origin, with nice threaded blue glass eyes, a closed mouth, finely painted lashes and thick multi-stroke eyebrows, pierces earlobes, and above each ear are two round holes, most likely originally used as a string mechanism to the body. She has been restrung in the typical modern method to a fully jointed french wooden composition body, definitely resembling that of a SSFBJ doll. Has pink finish with original patina other than some retouch to the fingers. Well costumed in a pale green cotton pleated dress with drop waist light green ribbon sash with big bow in back, lace trim collar and sleeves, antique pale pink leather shoes with heels, a dark human hair wig over cork pate, and a nice antique straw bonnet.

Item Dimensions: 18" T.
UNMARKED MYSTERY DOLL.
