Maker unmarked, but looks German. Marked "1885 Philadelphia" in pencil on the bottom base. Consists of a clothed organ grinder with composition head and hands, cranking an organ as a cat, a dog and a monkey dance while music is played. Very ornate and complex toy. Looks to be all original including all clothing, paper on base and wood. Some minor wear to clothing on organ grinder and one or two splits in the wooden base from age.
