American. Pre-war. Made in 1932 and 1933 only. Includes the ultra scarce no. 921 center section with three houses, groves of trees, and a water fountain. This is one of the largest and rarest of the Lionel accessories. "Made by Lionel Corporation New York" brass placard in front. Plot includes nine houses of different styles including bungalows. Houses have only minor scratching and wear; one bungalow has some paint loss to one side of roof. This is a must for any serious Lionel collector and has sold upwards of $6,000 a couple of times.
