Single 15" Globe Lens on Metal High Profile Body. Very scarce C. 1920's Globe Lens for Paragon "Peak Of Perfection" Gasoline showing an excellent mountain scene graphic with unique colors & script. A product of Paragon Refining, Toledo, Ohio. CONDITION: Lens is an early non-fired lens showing excellent color throughout the majority of the lens. Lens shows an area of touch up in the blue sky area at the left as well as some areas of minor lifting of the paint in the red lettering. The majority of the paint appears to be very sound and the backside of the lens has been coated with a white layer to protect the fragile paint. Lens is bright and colorful and displays very well. Lens is mounted with snap-ring into a new Metal High Profile Body which has been professionally painted in green and shows blank lens on the back side. A beautiful and rare piece of early Gasoline adverting.
