The Winchester Model A-5 scope was introduced in 1909 and was considered at the time to be one of the most advanced American made scopes available. Adopted by the US Army for their Sniper Corps and can be found mounted on just about every Winchester model ever made. Manufactured until 1928 when Lyman purchased Winchester's entire telescopic sight business and was reintroduced as the Lyman Model 5-A. It is a 3/4" tube scope with standard crosshairs and perfect optics. CONDITION: 95% original blue. Original Winchester mounts.
