Lot consists of (A) C.Sharps Four Barrel derringer. Made late 1860s. Right side of the frame is marked "C.SHARPS&CO./PHILADA.PA", while the left side is marked "C.SHARPS/PATENT 1859". Blued barrel with brass pin front sight. Brass frame. Gutta percha grips in a floral pattern. CONDITION: Metal retains some of its original finish, with most areas having been cleaned and polished. Grips are solid with light wear. Frosted bores with some pitting. Good rifling retained. Hammer functions as it should, with the firing pin rotating every time. Mechanically fine. (B) High condition Iver Johnson hammer fired double action revolver. Made circa early 1910s. Barrel ridge is marked "IVER JOHNSON'S ARMS & CYCLE WORKS/FITCHBURG MASS. U.S.A." Round steel barrel with half moon blade front sight and u-notch rear. Factory nickel finish, with a blued trigger guard. Case colored hammer and trigger. Factory checkered plastic grips with owls head logo on the top of each panel. CONDITION: Metal retains 98% of its original finish with a few handling marks. Grips are excellent. Bores are shiny with crisp rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. Sharp timing and lock up. Light drag lines on the cylinder. Mechanically fine. JWA
