This classic Revolutionary War period pistol served as the pattern for the legendary North & Cheney. Round barrel. Brass lock, marked "Charleville" with F80, trigger guard marked en suite. Regulation pattern throughout. Walnut grip. Hammer appears to be original, frizzen possibly replaced. CONDITION: Barrel is smooth patina with some minor pits, brass lock is clean with good Charleville marking. Hammer with minor pitting. Frizzen spring appears to be original. Belt hook a modern replacement. Bore is good. Walnut grip is good, appears to retain some modern overvarnish. Brass mounts are good. Ramrod appears to be an original. Action is weak and does not hold on full cock.
