Blued round barrel is properly marked "IHE" with anchor. The frame has standard Remington address. Inspector's marks P over FCW. Walnut grip with inspector's cartouche "FCW". CONDITION: Barrel is fine, retaining considerable original pasty dull military blue. Action with traces of case colors, staining, and no real pitting. The butt has crisp cartouche and only minor marks. Wooden fore end has a few dents, but full dimension and in good condition. Action is crisp as new. Bore is excellent. An above average example of this United States naval issue pistol. From the Robert Sadler Collection.
