Pistol corresponds to specifications listed in Flayderman's chapter on US issue primary military single shot pistols. Steel barrel is stamped with eagle, US and P. Closed lock hammer with rudimentary floral engraving. Steel trigger guard, stirrup rammer, two piece walnut grips. CONDITION: Overall polished over minor pitting. Waters stamp still visible. Walnut grips worn, left grip slightly undersized where it meets the frame. Right grip with chip where it meets frame. Hammer screw replaced with a brass hexagonal nut. Action is strong. Bore is fair.
