Of standard configuration throughout. Barrel stamped JDJ, P over US, with condemned stamp. CONDITION: Good, with only very minor pitting near touch hole. Lock deeply struck with North markings and date. Push-on safety. All small parts appear to be original. Stock lightly cleaned, obscuring inspector's cartouche, old initials I.H.(?). One tight crack at side nail. Steel mounts cleaned, with some minor erosion. Action works perfectly. Bore is good. The Model 1819 is one of the more attractive single shot US martial pistols. From the Robert Sadler Collection.
